1 in 6 women are struggling with infertility and some have been in a season of waiting for years. Infertility is not a topic that is openly discussed and we want to change the narrative and begin providing support to the women in and outside of our Church family. Like in many seasons of waiting, waiting to become a mom can be a stressful, discouraging, and lonely experience. At times, it feels hopeless and women need continued encouragement, support, and acknowledgement of their experience. This is why we are offering an Infertility Support Group through Moms in the Making starting in January.
Moms in the Making is a faith-based infertility/fertility Christian support group that exists to support and encourage women on their journey to becoming a mom by sharing the hope and truth of God’s Word.
Starting on Thursday, January 16th from 5-7pm in Downtown Bend (location provided after sign up), MITM will be led by Devan Larsen, fellow woman in waiting. The cost is $29 to register which will be reimbursed to make this group completely free to women. This group will run every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month through May and will include snack and drink options, fellowship and support, encouraging curriculum and a time of prayer.
If you are interested in partnering with the ministry to support the scholarship fund for the annual conference and leader retreat, please reach out to Devan or Brittany.
