New Rhythms and Practices
During COVID
For us, COVID-19 is a call to pray, to love our neighbor, and to make peace in a world of fear.
These rhythms and practices have been curated for us, as Riverbend Church —
to partner with Jesus in advancing his Kingdom
during the time of Coronavirus.
There's a Revival on the horizon
24/7 Prayer
We have a passion to see the renewed power and presence of Jesus in our time. So, we are praying around the clock for him to redeem this pandemic by bringing spiritual awakening to Central Oregon and beyond. We are creating a growing library of prayer guides to help structure your time of prayer. You can sign up to pray for one or multiple hours per week, anytime of the day or night.
You can also join our Zoom Prayer Meetings four times a week to pray in community with Riverbend staff.
Reclaiming the dinner table
Church Around
the Table
There’s a lot we can’t do right now because we’re quarantined at home. But, we see this disruption as an opportunity to reclaim the dinner table as a sacred place where God wants to meet us and form us. We’ve created a simple, guided practice we’re calling “Church Around the Table” to help you start a new habit of enjoying the presence of God with your family or roommates over a meal.
Use whatever is helpful for you. Feel free to adapt it to your personality and style. If you live alone, get creative by having dinner with your care crew around “a virtual table.” However you use it, the point is for you to spend intentional, distraction-free time enjoying the presence of God and your people.
